About Division Race
Division Race is a free practice game for kids who know their times tables and are now building division fluency. Each level adds a new family: divide by 2, 5 and 10 first, then by 3, 4 and the harder 6–9 divisors, and finally the full mixed 0–12 range. Children answer fact questions to push their runner toward the finish line before time runs out.
Why it works
- Fluency through repetition: short, repeatable rounds build automatic recall of division facts — the bridge to fractions and long division.
- Bite-size sessions: a level takes 1–2 minutes, perfect for car rides, breakfast, or a classroom warm-up.
- Low pressure, high feedback: wrong answers nudge the runner back without ending the game.
