About Sight Words Flashcards
Sight words are the small, common words that appear over and over in early reading: the, and, was, they. Most can’t be sounded out reliably, so they need to be recognised on sight — and the only way to get there is short, frequent practice.
What makes ours different
- Tricky pile: tap "Practise again" on any word and it joins your tricky pile. The "Tricky pile" level lets your child drill only the words they actually struggle with.
- Public-domain Dolch lists: we use the standard Dolch sets, the lists most teachers and schools use.
- One word, big and clear: no clutter, no ads, just the word.
Lists included
- Dolch Pre-K (40 words)
- Dolch Primer (52 words)
- Dolch 1st Grade (41 words)
- Dolch 2nd Grade (46 words)
- Dolch 3rd Grade (41 words)
How to play

- Tap Knew it if your child read it confidently.
