About Spelling Bee

A no-frills spelling practice game. The word appears for a few seconds, hides, and your child types it from memory. Levels gradually shorten the peek time and add hints — first letter, scrambled letters, or no hint at all.

Why it works

• Visual memory: the brief peek pushes kids past sounding-out and into recognising whole-word shapes.
• Self-paced: the optional Peek button gives a quick refresh (with a small score cost) whenever they need it.
• Scrambled mode: for older kids, words are scrambled rather than shown — harder, and a great challenge.

Recommended for

Ages 6–11. Designed to complement classroom spelling lists from Grade 1 through Grade 5.
