Tim was so excited to visit Farmer Ben’s farm for the very first time. There were animals everywhere, making funny noises and being busy. But Farmer Ben looked worried as Tim approached. “The barn’s special bell is missing!” he said. “I need it to call all the animals, and now it’s gone!”
As Tim walked around the farm, he met Daisy the cow. “Hi there!” Daisy the cow said with a cheerful moo. “I saw something shiny near the vegetable garden earlier. Maybe it’s the missing bell!” Daisy the cow’s big brown eyes twinkled as Tim decided to check it out. “Thank you, Daisy!” Tim said with a smile.
At the vegetable garden, Tim heard a clucking sound and met Clucky the hen. “What are you doing here, Tim?” Clucky the hen asked, fluffing her feathers. When Tim explained about the missing bell, Clucky the hen said, “I heard a ‘clink’ noise by the chicken coop. You should look there!” “Thanks, Clucky!” Tim said and hurried off.
When Tim reached the chicken coop, he looked all around carefully. Suddenly, Tim noticed a trail of feathers leading away from the coop. “Where do these feathers go?” Tim wondered aloud. Following the trail, he soon arrived at Piggy Wiggy the pig’s pen, where the trail ended.
Piggy Wiggy the pig was rolling in the mud with a big grin when Tim arrived. “Hi, Piggy Wiggy the pig!” Tim called out. “Did you see the barn’s bell?” Piggy Wiggy the pig nodded. “I bumped into it, oops! But then I saw Baa-Baa the lamb carrying it toward the meadow. You should go check there, Tim!”
At the meadow, Tim saw Baa-Baa the lamb hopping around happily. “Baa-Baa the lamb, do you have the bell?” Tim asked eagerly. Baa-Baa the lamb giggled and pointed to some tall grass nearby. There it was—the bell, shiny and tangled up! “I found it!” Tim cheered, feeling proud.
Just as Tim was trying to untangle the bell, Daisy the cow trotted over to help. “Let me untangle it for you, Tim,” Daisy the cow said, using her strong teeth to free the bell from the grass. “Got it!” Daisy the cow exclaimed. But the bell was very heavy, and Tim couldn’t carry it alone. “What should I do now?” Tim wondered.
Tim called out for help, and soon all the animals came running. Piggy Wiggy the pig pushed the bell with all his strength, and Clucky the hen stood on a fence post giving directions. “This way! Over here!” Clucky the hen squawked. With teamwork and Tim guiding everyone, they rolled the heavy bell back to the barn.
Farmer Ben smiled big when Tim and the animals arrived with the bell. “You all did it, especially you, Tim!” he said happily. He rang the bell, and its loud *ding-ding* brought all the animals running. Everyone celebrated with a fun sing-along, dancing and laughing around the shiny bell while Tim joined in the fun.
It was time for Tim to go home after an exciting day. “Thank you for helping us, Tim!” Farmer Ben said. “Come back anytime!” Tim waved goodbye to all the animals. Tim smiled, thinking about what a fun day it had been at the farm!
