About Word Scramble
Word Scramble is one of the fastest and most satisfying ways to practice spelling. The letters of a word appear in a random order; kids tap them in the right order to rebuild the word. Wrong order? Tap a letter again to send it back.
Word lists
- Sight words — Dolch lists from Pre-K up to Grade 3.
- Spelling words — common grade-level lists for grades 1 to 5.
How it scales
- Levels start with 3-letter words and grow up to 10+ letters.
- Early levels show a hint — a tiny preview of the word above the tiles.
- Later levels remove the hint, and the champion level adds a small time pressure.
How to play
- Tap each letter tile in the order you think they spell the word.
- To remove a letter, tap it in the slot — it goes back to the tile row.
- When the row is full, the game checks the answer.
