About Word Search

A classic puzzle that quietly reinforces spelling, word recognition, and visual scanning. Six themed packs let kids hunt animal, food, sports and school words, plus pure Dolch sight word and grade-level spelling grids.

How it scales

• Tiny puzzles at 6×6 with words across only — gentle for early readers.
• Bigger grids through 8×8, 10×10, up to a 14×14 champion grid.
• More directions are added gradually: across, down, diagonal, then reverse.

How to play

1. Pick a theme and grid size.
2. Find a word in the list. Press on the first letter and drag across to the last letter.
3. Words can run across, down, diagonal — and at higher levels, backward.
4. Find every word in the list to win.

Recommended for

Ages 5–10. Sight word and animal packs are great for early readers; spelling grids work well for grades 1–3.
