Tim peeked out the window, ready to say goodnight to the stars. Suddenly, one star zipped across the sky, leaving a sparkly trail of light behind it. "Wow!" Tim whispered as the star came closer and closer until—plop! It landed right in the backyard with a soft glow.
Curious, Tim tiptoed outside to look. On the grass sat a tiny, twinkling star. “Hi,” the star said, its voice soft and sweet. “I’m Twinkle, and I think I’m lost.” Twinkle’s light flickered, and Tim could see the little star needed help.
“I fell from the sky,” Twinkle said sadly. “I need to get home to my family, but I don’t know how.” Tim thought for a moment, then smiled brightly. “I’ll help you, Twinkle!” Twinkle glowed a tiny bit brighter and said, “Really? Oh, thank you!”
“I have an idea!” Tim said. “We’ll build a rocket to take you home!” he grabbed boxes, tape, and paint from the garage and got busy. Twinkle sparkled happily as Tim worked carefully. “It’s perfect!” Twinkle said, twinkling a little brighter.
When the rocket was finished, Twinkle giggled and said, “Let me add some star magic!” Twinkle wiggled its sparkly arms, and the rocket began to glow. Suddenly, the cardboard rocket turned into a shiny, real spaceship! Tim clapped his hands. “It’s real!”
Tim and Twinkle climbed into the spaceship. “Three… two… one… blast off!” The rocket zoomed into the sky, whizzing through clouds and into space. “Look at all the stars and planets!” Tim said, eyes wide. Twinkle twinkled with excitement.
As they zoomed through space, a funny spaceship appeared. A friendly alien named Zogo peeked out and waved. “Do you need help?” Zogo asked in a cheerful voice. Using its bright lights, Zogo led them safely past some big, bumpy asteroids. “Thank you, Zogo!” Tim and Twinkle said.
“Good luck, friends!” Zogo called as the spaceship zoomed away. Twinkle pointed. “Look! That sparkly trail will lead us to my family!” Tim followed the glowing stardust, the spaceship zooming faster and faster. “We’re almost there!” Twinkle cheered.
At the end of the sparkly trail, a group of twinkling stars waited. “Twinkle, you’re back!” they called, shining brightly. Twinkle hugged Tim. “Thank you! You’re the best friend ever!” Tim smiled as Twinkle joined its family, glowing happily.
The spaceship brought Tim back home, landing softly in the backyard. he climbed into bed, feeling proud and happy. Looking out the window, Tim saw Twinkle shining with its family. “Goodnight, Twinkle,” Tim whispered with a big smile.
