While digging in the backyard, Tim found something amazing—a glowing egg in the dirt! It sparkled like a little star, and Tim could hardly believe he’s eyes. “I have to keep it safe!” Tim said, gently picking up the egg. {Pronoun} wrapped it in a soft blanket and wondered what might be inside.
The next morning, Tim woke up to a big surprise—the egg had cracked open! Out came a tiny, wiggly creature with green scales and a happy squeak. “You’re a baby dino!” Tim said, laughing as the little dinosaur wiggled around. “I’ll call you Rory!”
Rory was full of energy and loved running around the house. Tim tried to keep up as Rory knocked over a chair and chewed on his slippers. “Rory, no! That’s not for chewing!” Tim giggled as Rory wagged his tiny tail. Even though Rory made a mess, Tim couldn’t stop smiling.
When Tim went to school, Rory didn’t want to be left behind. The sneaky dino climbed into Tim’s backpack without he knowing! At school, Rory jumped out and grabbed a piece of chalk. The class laughed so hard when Rory started drawing funny shapes on the board.
Later, Tim took Rory to the movies, but Rory couldn’t sit still. When a big dinosaur roared on the screen, Rory stood up and roared too! Everyone laughed as Rory hopped between the seats, popcorn flying everywhere. “Oh, Rory,” Tim said, shaking his head but smiling.
At the grocery store, Rory caused even more trouble. He knocked over a pile of cereal boxes and chased apples as they rolled away. “Rory, come back!” Tim said, trying to catch his giggling dino. The workers laughed and said, “What a silly little dinosaur!”
At the park, Tim and Rory were playing with a ball when a big kid tried to take it. Rory puffed up his chest and let out a huge roar! The big kid ran away, and Tim hugged Rory tight. “You’re my hero, Rory!” Tim said with a big smile.
In the backyard, Tim and Rory played hide-and-seek. Rory was very good at hiding! Tim looked and looked, but suddenly—“ROAR!” Rory jumped out, making Tim laugh so hard he fell over. “You’re so sneaky, Rory!” Tim said, still giggling.
As the sun went down, Tim and Rory built a blanket fort in the living room. They added fairy lights and shared some snacks inside. Rory snuggled up close, as Tim read aloud from his favorite book. The cozy fort felt like their own little world.
After such a busy day, it was time for bed. Rory curled up next to Tim, letting out tiny, soft snores. Tim hugged his dino friend and smiled. As they both drifted off to sleep, they dreamed of more adventures to come.
