Tim tiptoed into the attic, his eyes big with wonder. There were boxes stacked high, filled with all kinds of old things. But then, behind a pile of dusty boxes, Tim saw something surprising—a tiny, fluffy monster! It was hiding and shaking, its bright eyes peeking out nervously.
The little monster whispered, "My name is Luma. I got lost, and it’s so dark up here." Luma held his tiny paws close to his chest. "I’m scared of the dark." Tim bent down and smiled kindly. "Don’t be scared," Tim said. "I’ll help you find your way home!"
Luma’s eyes lit up with hope as Tim looked around the attic. "We need something to make light," Tim said. "Then the dark won’t feel so scary!" Luma nodded, and together, they started searching for things that could help them make a little light.
Tim found an old glass jar that looked just right. Luma found some sparkly beads in a small box. And in the corner, Tim spotted a string of broken fairy lights. "This might work!" Tim said, holding up the lights. Luma clapped his paws happily.
The two friends sat on the attic floor, putting their light together. Tim put the beads inside the jar while Luma untangled the fairy lights. As they worked, they talked about fun things—Tim shared stories about his favorite park, and Luma talked about a magical forest full of glowing trees. They laughed and felt happy to have each other.
When they were done, the jar glowed softly like a little lantern. The attic, once dark and spooky, now felt warm and safe. Luma’s fluffy fur puffed up with joy. "I’m not scared anymore!" Luma said, bouncing up and down.
Suddenly, Luma’s eyes got big. "Wait! I remember something!" Luma said. "There’s a secret door in the attic that leads to my home!" Tim looked surprised. "A secret door? Let’s find it!" They held the glowing jar and began searching together.
The attic seemed new with the lantern lighting the way. They peeked into corners and behind boxes. Then, behind an old curtain, they found a small wooden door with a tiny knob. "This is it!" Luma said excitedly. Tim carefully turned the knob, and soft, magical light spilled out.
On the other side of the door was a glowing forest. The trees sparkled with golden light, and the air felt warm and magical. "This is my home!" Luma squealed happily. Tim followed Luma down a shiny path until they reached a cozy little burrow.
Luma turned to Tim, his fluffy face full of smiles. "Thank you for helping me," Luma said, giving Tim a big, soft hug. "I’ll never forget you!" With a happy wave, Luma ran into the glowing forest. Tim smiled and held the glowing lantern tightly. It was the perfect reminder of his magical adventure and a very special friend.
