Tim was looking out the window one quiet night when something amazing happened. A bright, sparkly streak zipped across the sky and gently landed in the backyard. "Wow!" Tim whispered, eyes wide with wonder. Curious, Tim tiptoed outside to see what it was.
---
In the soft grass sat a tiny, glowing comet with a sparkling tail. "Hi there!" it said with a cheerful voice. "I’m Zoomie! I got lost playing tag in space and can’t find my friends." Tim smiled and said, "Don’t worry, Zoomie. I’ll help you find them!"
---
Suddenly, Tim noticed the toy rocket sitting nearby. It started glowing and wiggling, then grew bigger and bigger until it was a real spaceship! "Whoa!" Tim gasped. "I guess we’re ready to go!" Zoomie twirled happily. "Let’s blast off!"
---
The rocket whooshed into space, stars twinkling all around. Zoomie zoomed ahead, leading the way, but then slowed down. "I’m not sure where to go," Zoomie admitted quietly. "That’s okay," Tim said with a kind smile. "We’ll figure it out together."
---
Soon, they floated near the Moon, who looked a little nervous. "Oh dear," said the Moon. "It’s you again!" Zoomie zipped behind Tim and said, "I think I scared the Moon earlier when I zoomed too close." Tim giggled and said, "Let’s make things right!"
---
"We’re really sorry, Moon," Tim said gently. "We’re helping Zoomie find his friends." The Moon’s frown turned into a big, glowing smile. "Oh, I see! Well, I think they went that way," the Moon said, pointing to a twinkling asteroid field.
---
Zoomie and Tim flew into the asteroid field, where flashes of light zipped this way and that. "Look!" Zoomie shouted. "It’s my friends playing tag!" The tiny comet sparkled with excitement, and Tim laughed. "Let’s go say hello!"
---
"Zoomie!" the comet friends called out, zipping over in a swirl of glittery light. "We missed you!" Zoomie spun in circles, so happy to see them again. "I got lost, but my friend Tim helped me find my way back!" Zoomie said proudly.
---
The comets gathered around Tim and twirled in a sparkly dance of thanks. "You’re the best!" they said, leaving trails of glittery light in the sky. Then, with a cheerful "Tag, you’re it!" they zoomed off to continue their game.
---
Tim and the rocket turned back toward Earth, waving goodbye. The Moon glowed brightly and called, "Come visit again!" As the rocket landed gently in the backyard, Zoomie gave one last sparkling wave. "Thank you, Tim! You’re a star!" And with a happy whoosh, Zoomie zipped back into the sky.
