Tim and his class were so excited to visit the space center. They saw rockets, shiny suits, and fun gadgets. Suddenly, Commander Vega walked in with a big smile. “How would you like to join us in space for a day?” Commander Vega asked. Tim grinned from ear to ear and said, “Yes, I’d love to!”
The crew showed Tim the rocket. It was super big with lots of buttons and blinking lights. Soon, it was time to climb inside. “3… 2… 1… BLAST OFF!” The rocket zoomed into the sky with a loud rumble, and Tim held on tight!
When they reached the space station, Tim floated inside and giggled. Everything was floating—pencils, water, and even Tim! “This is zero gravity!” said Commander Vega with a laugh. Tim wiggled his arms and legs to figure out how to float around.
It was snack time, and everyone was hungry. But when someone opened a bag of cookies, CRASH! The cookies floated everywhere! “Quick, catch them!” said Commander Vega. Tim laughed and zoomed around, grabbing cookies from the air.
“Watch this!” said Commander Vega, flipping slowly in the air like a spinning top. Tim tried it too and twirled like a dancer! Then they had a floating race down the long hallway. “You’re so good at this!” said Commander Vega, clapping.
Suddenly, a soft pillow bumped into Tim. “Pillow fight!” someone shouted. Soon, pillows were flying everywhere like fluffy clouds. Tim laughed and tossed pillows back, having the best time ever. The whole station was filled with giggles!
Next, Tim helped with a fun experiment. The crew let colorful blobs of water float in the air. “Look what happens!” said Commander Vega, as the blobs touched and became a rainbow ball. “Wow!” said Tim, clapping his hands with joy.
“Come here!” said one of the astronauts. Tim floated to the window and looked outside. The Earth was right there, looking small and shiny! “It’s so pretty!” said Tim, pointing to the blue oceans and green land.
It was time to go back home. Tim helped pack the bags and check the spaceship. “You’ve been such a big help!” said Commander Vega, giving Tim a high-five. Tim felt proud and couldn’t stop smiling.
The spaceship landed safely back on Earth. As Tim stepped out, he waved to Commander Vega and the crew. “This was the best day ever!” Tim said happily. On the way home, Tim dreamed about being an astronaut again someday.
